Be careful on steep slopes with soft and wet snow, a skier can trigger avalanches here. Keep distance to cornices and areas with glide-cracks.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Snødekket er i stor grad smelteomdannet og homogent. Overflaten er svært våt mange steder, og elver og bekker er stort sett åpne. Snøgrensen varierer fra 500 moh til 900-1000 moh, lavest i indre strøk i nord. Det er fortsatt godt med snø over ca. 1000 moh. Men det smelter mye fra dag til dag, og de bare feltene blir stadig større.

Tirsdag ble det meldt om mye vann i snøen og glidesprekker i utvikling i Sogndal.

Når temperaturen stiger utover dagen kan det være mulig å løse ut løssnøskred.
Vær oppmerksom på skavlbrudd og glideskred.
Glideskred er uforutsigbare og kan løsne av seg selv hele døgnet. Unngå opphold under glidesprekker.
